Tournament rules / FAQs

1. To join a team, you need to joined our Discord server and linked your Discord team
2. If you have any strikes against you, you cannot join a team
3. You can join and leave teams at any point, although switching teams is discouraged
4. Because of the way team points are calculated (see below), you may not want to join a team towards the end of a season
5. Each team has its own Discord channel. You will get access when you join
6. Teams have a minimum of 3 players.There is no maximum
7. Seasons will run for between 1 month and 3 months
8. If a season is active, then any game you win will accumulate a point for your team. A draw is worth ½ a point
9. If you leave a team part-way through a season, any games you played still count
10. If you join a team part-way through, any games you played before then won't count
11. A team's score will be calculated by the total points accumulated divided by:
• The number of players in the team who have played at least one game during the season (whether they are currently a member of a team or not); or
• Four, if there have been fewer than 4 players active
12. If you want to set up a new team, find at least 2 other people and post in the Discord channel
13. Teams can be open, or closed. If they're closed, you'll need the password from a current member to join
